Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving is supposed to be the time when you give thanks for everything. I got into a fight with my mom. She yelled at me, because I had some shit laying around. It was only during the day and I was supposed to take care of the shit. I was pissed about that and everything else. So I decided to eat with Heather, because we are getting married next year. So everything worked out in the end. Oh well, christmas is around the corner and I figured I will talk it out by then.

The End of an Era...

I was told that GKC Theatres (I used to work for them) was bought out by Marcus Cinemas. I always wondered if Beth would stay with the company. I did not think she would bail out so quickly. I really do not want to say anything bad about her, but I wish she would have tried to sell the company internally. If I was in her situation though, I would have sold the company to the highest bidder and called it a day.

I had a lot of fun working for them, but I knew this would come. Before I left the company, I felt that something was not right. I could not explain it, but I knew it was there. I mean I left GKC for a bunch of reasons, but I think that was the BIG one. I have missed working for the easiest operating chain, but I wish Kerasotes would have bought them. You see, GKC and Kerasotes was one chain. They broke around 85 or 86. I will say that it would have been awesome to get the theaters back to one company.

One more thing... Do you think any of the Mangers know about the purchase by Marcus? I doubt it. Alright check this out... GKC will not tell any of the Managers until they find out from rumors and/or the news... How fucked up it that?!? Should I tell someone from there? Not my business anymore. How weird is that?

Need for Speed Underground 2 (PC) & Metriod Prime 2: Echos (GC)

I have been playing Need for Speed Underground 2 (PC) for a while now. Wow... They know how to keep my interest while playing video games. I've had a lot of fun kicking ass and taking names with this game. It is awesome. If you liked the first one please check this one out.

On another note, Metriod Prime 2: Echos (GC) has pissed me off. I got stuck on the first fuckin level. What the shit is up with dat? Hopefully my brother can figure out how to play the game properly. For some reason I fucked it up really fast. I WILL BEAT IT!!!

Chilin in K-Town

So I have been chilin out in Kewanee the last day or so. Nothing really big has been going on, but I have been playing Thug2 a lot. I am still waiting on Family Video to call back on Metriod Prime 2: Echos. Other than that... I really have not done anything. I will say that I will be FINALLY checking out GameStop. Of all towns, Kewanee gets a GameStop. WTF! Maybe I should try to get a job with them. I guess trying again would not hurt. HA!

Saturday Night Out

Tonight I went out with Heather. We went out to Applebee's and then back home to watch a movie. We watched Saved! It was very funny. I doubt my parents would like it though. They made fun of people who are REALLY into G-O-D. I feel that it went over the top a couple of times, but I feel it too far sometimes. Why am I writing this now? Shouldn't I be with her? So I kicked ass at work today. I got my hair cut and did laundry. But... I went to go pick my shit up and some fat fuck was in the laundry place. He was "looking" for some of his clothes that he left there a week ago. I asked him, "Why haven't you picked your clothes up since then?" I thought it was a good question. He says, "I have been busy." "What was so important that you could not pick your clothes up within the last couple days?" He looked at me and then said bye. I realized something. That motherfucker was trying to steal my clothes. HE is lucky I did not have a gun.

I started to think, "Why would someone, with a bad excuse, hang out at a laundry mat?" To steal clothes... I think from now on, I have to watch my clothes like a motherfuckin hawk or some shit. I could hire a midget to see my shit, but I would want to throw him around just for shits and giggles.

Today I cleaned the charcoal out of the popcorn machines at the theater. It was fuckin messy. I cannot believe someone has not cleaned them in since the theater has been open. I thought about that quote. Have you ever wondered what happened to someone that touched your life? Have you ever wondered what happened to someone who fucked with your life? If someone touched your life, they are doing just fine. I still think about a handful of people that meant something to me. I still talk to some on a regular basis. They know that next year that we will be drinking up a storm. I feel the other ones are fine without me in their lives. I feel also that I am a better person for not having them in my life. For the people that fucked with you, they are doing nothing with their lives.

Why the fuck are you talking about this? I ran into 2 people within the last 3 days that meant something to me; both from Bloomington, IL. The person that touched me, not in an impure manner, is working for a church thing. I really cannot remember. It was good to see them again. It was good because they stopped doing the shit I was doing too. I am happy for her. She is also going in the direction that Heather and I are going in. One person who fucked with me is now working at a fast food joint and he is the lowest point of the pole. I now see what has been given to me and I will run with it. Fuck all the Nay-Sayers cause they do not mean a thing; cause this is the style that I bring.

I woke up about an hour ago... Seriously, I did. I feel that 3 times a year, everyone is entitled to spend the day in bed. I just did mine today. Wow... Wow...

I was watching TV and saw that fuckin Sponge Bob movie coming out. And I noticed something about him. It showed him swallowing soap... Why the fucks do I care about soap? Yesterday I had to break up 2 fights. First one had two girls yelling at each other. I told them to take it somewhere else. One then tried to get me to here her story... So I got to screen the Incredibles last night. I really did not care for it. It was not as good as I thought it would have been. I felt it should have been Pixar/Disney's best work. It really was good, but not as good as the rest of their shit. I mean like... come on. I still think that everyone should go watch it at the best theater in the Peoria area. I was looking around at some wrestling sites, because I am still a fan. I noticed that Sugar Shane "The Hurricane" Helms might get released... WTF I mean he is the man. I cannot believe the WWE would go that low. If he was to get released, I seriously would stop watching WWE TV.

There would be no reason to even care about what the fuck "Trips" is doing this week. If someone who has been with the company for 20+ years and leaves the company because Vince is "Blind", then Pat did the right thing.

Chevelle / Shinedown / Vendetta Red / Future Leaders of the World

Wow... And I thought no one could give Green Day or Pearl Jam a run at the best concert's that I have seen. I stand corrected... The fuckin best part of the show is... it was FREE!!! I shit you not. Miller was giving them out and my brother hooked my ass up with the tickets. Mike, Johnny, Aaron, and I all went to the concert.

Vendetta Red was awesome. I will say that they put on a great show. Future Leaders of the World was good. They are a mix between Nirvana and Rage Against the Machine. Both of these bands are on EPIC Records. Then some BITCH wore a shirt that said, "Jesus is a Cunt" to this concert. WTF!!! Chevelle = Christian Rock... WTF... Shinedown did a set that was awesome for the few songs they have. I will say the energy they put off was fuckin great.

Finally after 3 and a half hours waiting, CHEVELLE ROCKED THE HOUSE!!! Wow... They did almost all the songs I wanted to hear. The only one I was upset at not hearing was "Open / Point #1". The set was still awesome. Pete came out and started to play "Vitamin R" in the wrong tuning. He grabbed the right guitar and started to play the song again. After the concert was over, I was sad; sad that I would not be able to see Chevelle play again for a while. If you get a chance to see them, DO IT!!!

Hopefully I am not too sore tomorrow. I was head banging and jumping a around like a hardcore fan. I just have a bad feeling I will be fuckin hurting tomorrow.

Here is an interesting fact... Every time I have been to Bloomington, IL, something bad has happened... I got a ticket, Mike's Car broke down, I got in trouble at all the meetings there, and my first/only stalker lives there... I am pretty sure she stills lives there. This is the first time nothing bad has happened.
