iPod Shuffle Gone?

taken from ipodnn.com

All signs point to the end of the iPod shuffle as we know it, according to a TheStreet.com columnist: "Apple Computer may be about to phase out -- or replace -- one of its low-end iPods, if the availability of the device on the company's Web site - and through its retail partners -- is any indication. Customers can no longer buy the one-gigabyte iPod shuffle through Apple's Web store or through those of such leading online retailers as Amazon.com, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and Circuit City. Apple's Web store has been out of stock on the 1GB shuffle since mid-December, according to enthusiast site AppleInsider.com... In addition, a survey of 12 Apple retail stores chosen at random found that seven of them -- including a store in Los Angeles and one in New York's SoHo district -- did not have the 1GB shuffle in stock and didn't know when they would receive it." The column notes that the Nano, which was expected to be available in limited quantities through the holiday season, were more available. Dwindling inventory is often a sign that company will replace the product.

"The company typically sells down inventory of models it plans to replace well in advance of actually introducing replacement models. Prior to introducing the flash-based nano in September, the company bled down its inventory of iPod minis, the model the nano supplanted. The strategy resulted in disappointing iPod shipments in the company's fiscal fourth quarter."

Apple's website, which says that it will have stock in mid-December, may also provide some color on the future plans of the company maker. "That would come just after Macworld, the annual gathering of Apple product developers and enthusiasts. Apple CEO Steve Jobs introduced the Shuffle at Macworld last January."

Gamecube out sold the XBox 360... Bullshit???

taken from Gamasutra / Digg.com

Game software have increased once again in Japan, in what is generally the second busiest retail week of the year, with sales up 22 percent on last week, and 163 percent above the weekly average. This underlies a strong end to the year which looks set to continue into the next few weeks, with major releases such as Kingdom Hearts II and a new Nintendo DS Brain Training game yet to come.

The number one title was the latest in Namco’s Tales of role-playing series, with Tales of the Abyss recording an impressive 404,667 unit sales. Aided by the time of year and the tenth anniversary of the series in Japan, this is notably better than the performance of Tales of Legendia in August which recorded around 242,000 sales in its first week, as well as January’s Tales of Rebirth, which had approximately 335,000 units sold in the first week.

The rest of the chart, though, has been completely dominated by Nintendo format games, with no less than six first party titles from the publisher itself. Animal Crossing: Wild World recorded sales of above 100,000 for the third week running to come in at number two with 183,699 units sold, while Mario Kart DS also sold more than 100,000 in its second week with 145,666 units.

Our Cat, Misty [18 years old]

First off, I would like to explain that I am NOT a cat lover. I do not like cats... But there was something different about this cat... Please read on.

Today I got the call I did not want to hear. Misty, our cat of 18 years, pasted away this morning. As much as I want to be sad, I cannot shed a tear... The last 4 months have been REALLY hard on her and it was her time. I keep on thinking the reason she died was my fault... See, I have been coming home every week and spending time with her. I have been coming home to watch football for 14 weeks. I only missed one week since the beginning of the season. Most of the time, I spent sleeping at my parents' place with Misty. I want to say it's my fault, but it is not.

Aaron is the last to leave my parents' house... [Aaron graduated, Beth got married, and I got married.] The three of us moved on with our lives. Now our last childhood pet, will not be there when Aaron, Beth, and myself come to visit. I still have issues not seeing Max [our dog November '00] meeting me at the door. I know now that everytime I come to visit my parents', it will be different not seeing the ONLY cat I ever liked. Misty was also the only cat that Heather [my wife] ever liked.

Through 18 years, we never had problems with our loving cat Misty. Now I must shed some tears, because I will never find a better pet than Misty. Today is supposed to be a good day and I will make sure it is.

Misty; our favorite cat May 19th, 1987 to December 20th, 2005

BEARS WIN and Halo 2

Bears -
CHICAGO (AP) -- Rex Grossman had waited a long time for this -- nearly 15 months -- so he was surprised and thrilled when the call finally came.

After replacing the struggling Kyle Orton in the third quarter, Grossman warmed the crowd and then the Chicago Bears' offense in a 16-3 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night at frigid Soldier Field.

"It was a thrill," Grossman said. "To finally be back and have crowd support like that is not really something you can explain unless you have the experience yourself.

"To run out in Soldier Field and have whole crowd cheer you on after missing 26 games or whatever I missed and going through all the rehab and then to have that fan support running out in the huddle in a close game against the Falcons and playoff run -- it's a very unique situation. It's a memory I'll take with me the rest of my life."

Grossman added a different dimension.

***Bears Playoff info*** -
The magic number is 1 for divison.
For a playoff birth: Redskins or Bucs loss.
For first round bye: Giants and Panthers loss, and Chicago win.

Halo 2 -
I played Halo 2 with Mike last night from 11pm - 5am. I should have quit at 1am, but I just continued to play. I sucked it up so much, that I need to play a couple of days in a row in get back to normal status.

Nintendo Revolution Controller Info

taken from cnn.com:

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) – Interesting factoid about the Nintendo Revolution controller: It's smaller and lighter than you might think.

I recently had the chance to get some hands-on time with the company's next generation console to see whether the Revolution was, in fact, revolutionary. While the controller I used was still a prototype (the final one will be a bit larger and will include a button to power the machine on and off), it gave me a good chance to see what to expect when the system launches next year.

Shaped like a television remote control, the Revolution controller uses internal sensors to translate your wrist, arm and hand movements on screen. It's easy to use, but takes a few minutes to adjust your playing style. (I initially found myself waving my arms wildly, resulting in the onscreen pointer whizzing back and forth at blinding speeds.)

Nintendo wasn't kidding when it said it wanted to change the way people play, though. Once I figured out that subtle movements made for simple gameplay, I went through eight demos demonstrating a variety of features and possible uses. A simple point and shoot demo (like any of the thousands of Web-based Flash games) was more fun than I expected. I effortlessly pulled off loops and flight stunts I've never been able to manage with today's standard controller in a flying demo, simply by holding the controller as I might a paper airplane. ("Star Fox" fans should start getting excited.)

Other demos allowed me to telescopically zoom in and out on the screen, simply by moving the controller forward and backward and try some fishing by 'feeling' fish nibble on the line (via a rumble effect), then yanking the controller up in the air to hook them. ("Animal Crossing" fans, you might want to get excited, too.)

By adding an auxiliary thumbstick controller, I was able to play through a level of a retrofitted "Metroid Prime 2" (a GameCube game). Confession time: When it comes to console shooters, I'm terrible. I can finish them, but I'm nowhere near as competent as I am with my mouse/keyboard setup for the PC. In the early stages of the "Metroid" demo, it looked like this trend would continue, as I was all over the screen. By mid-way, though, I was better able to move and aim – and enjoyed the game far more than I did with the GameCube controller. ("Metroid" fans... well, you're probably already pretty excited.)

It turns out I'm not the only one who has this problem with standard controllers.

"I was a developer for many years before my current role, but I've never been a very good gamer," Nintendo president Satoru Iwata told me. "I've never been able to control a first-person shooter, but as soon as I used the Revolution controller, I found it very easy to control the game. So, I think that's a genre that's particularly well suited for the controller."

Reggie Fils-Aime, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Nintendo of America, said he hopes to see another type of game really take off with the Revolution.

"I hope [massively multiplayer online games] are really explored on this system," he said. "That's a genre, from the home console standpoint, that really hasn't been explored very well."

One of the problems the Revolution faces is dislodging the idea of the standard controller from people's minds. Mention home video games to most people and they'll conjure a mental image of someone sitting on a couch, both hands gripping one of today's standard controllers and not moving much. So the idea of moving your arm in a virtual sword fight or taking virtual aim at onscreen monsters might be hard to get across.

"When we first watched it, we thought, frankly, 'what the hell is this?'," said Jack Sorensen, executive vice president of worldwide studios for THQ. "The main thing is getting it in your hands. Once you do that, it's pretty intuitive. It's not about more buttons. It's about ease of use for consumers. ... I'm surprised and happy with the direction Nintendo is going."

Nintendo was in a similar situation a year ago when it launched the Nintendo DS. Explaining to people that a touch screen would be used to play games wasn't easy. The DS was something that had to be experienced to fully understand. Iwata said the company is better prepared this time around.

"It's going to be a challenge to take something that's a new concept and new idea and convey to the public ... how to understand it, but honestly I think the Revolution controller is going to be a lot easier to convey to the public than the DS was as a system," he said. "We've learned a lot in terms of how to communicate to people these new and different ideas and because of the experience we had with the DS, we're much more prepared."

The company has high hopes for its next console (Revolution, it should be noted, is just a code name – the system's official name will be announced next year). Iwata has previously said if sales do not surpass the GameCube's, it will be considered a failure.

It goes beyond that, though.

"Until now, within a single household, we've had family members who play video games and family members who don't play video games - and they've been very separate," said Iwata. "Gradually, the barriers between those two have gotten stronger. ... Today, if you don't understand the controller, you're not able to enjoy video games. ... We expect [the Revolution controller] to become the standard in video game controls."

That's a tall order, especially amongst an audience that tends to be resistant to change. (The DS was often scorned by core gamers when it was initially announced. Some of those same gamers now regularly sing its praises. Others continue to argue it's a gimmick.)

The Revolution is scheduled to launch next year, most likely in the same time frame as Sony's (Research) PlayStation 3. Nintendo, which has already hinted it might offer the console at a lower price, has already promised to reveal all the details at a May press conference preceding the E3 trade show (the annual gathering of the video game industry).

That doesn't mean it will retreat behind a veil of silence until that point, however.

"It's fair to say that we have a number of things that we will begin unveiling all next year, leading up to E3," said Fils-Aime.

Truth does hurt some people... Dare I say more.

American Internet

taken from Q101.com

Warner Bros. Records' attempts to block the distribution of American Edit, a mash-up of Green Day's American Idiot album, has sparked a protest among Internet activists. More than 200 participants took part in "Dean Gray Tuesday" this week by either posting the American Edit album online or turning their background page gray. The action was intended to be a "single display of the consumptive power of the mash-up and home-remix community," according to AmericanEdit.org.

The album is very interesting. It is something to go out there and download.

Make Backup Copy Righted CD's

taken from Freedom to Tinker :

Here’s a great gift idea just in time for the holidays: Make your friends and relatives their very own copy-protected CDs using the same industrial-grade passive protection technology built into XCP and Macrovision discs.

Passive protection exploits subtle differences between the way computers read CDs and the way ordinary CD players do. By changing the layout of data on the CD, it’s sometimes possible to confuse computers without affecting ordinary players — or so the theory goes. In practice, the distinction between computers and CD players is less precise. Older generations of CD copy protection, which relied entirely on passive protection, proved easy to copy in some computers and impossible to play on some CD players. For these reasons, copy protection vendors now use active protection — special software designed to block copying.

Discs with XCP or Macrovision protection employ active protection in conjunction with a milder form of passive protection. You can create your own CD with exactly the same passive protection by following a straightforward five-step procedure. I’ll describe the procedure here, and then explain why it works.

What you’ll need:

* A computer running a recent version of Windows (instructions are Windows-specific; perhaps someone will write instructions for MacOS or Linux)
* Nero, a popular CD burning application
* CloneCD, an advanced disc duplication utility
* Two blank recordable CDs

Step 1: Burn a regular audio CD

Start Nero Burning ROM and create a new Audio CD project. [View] Add the audio tracks that you want to include on your copy-protected disc. [View] When you’re ready to record, click the Burn button on the toolbar. In the Burn tab, make sure “Finalize disc” is unchecked. [View] Insert a blank CD and click Burn. Be careful not to infringe any copyrights! For loads of great music that you can copy legally, visit Creative Commons.

Step 2: Add a data session to the CD

Start another Nero compilation, this time selecting the “CD-ROM ISO” project type. In the Multisession tab, make sure “Start Multisession disc” is selected; and in the ISO tab, make sure Data Mode is set to “Mode 2 / XA”. [View] Add any files that you want to be accessible when the CD is used in a computer. You might include “bonus” content, such as album art and lyrics. [View] For a more professional effect, consider adding the installer for your favorite spyware application and creating an Autorun.inf file so it starts automatically. When you’re finished, click the Burn toolbar button. Insert the audio CD you created in Step 1, and click Burn. [View] Nero should warn you that the disc you’ve inserted is not empty; click Yes to add your data files as a second session. [View]

Please goto Freedom to Tinker for the whole article. This is fun and hard all at once. Try it... I did!

17 Year Old Hero gets a Freakin' Calculator... WTF?

taken from the Sun:

A BRAVE teenager who saved a bank thousands of pounds by foiling a cash machine scam was rewarded yesterday — with a plastic calculator. Luke Bridges, 17, tore a false fascia off an ATM machine then fled from crooks waiting nearby who had put it there. He ran home with the device — used to “skim” customers’ PIN codes and clone cards — and called police. NatWest, owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland — which is worth £54.9BILLION — said they would reward the teenager for his bravery.

But when he opened a parcel from the bank he found a plastic calculator worth a few Pounds.

Furious HSBC cashier Luke said: “I plan to send this thing back with a letter telling the bank they can use it to work out how much money I saved them.

“It looks like the sort of thing they dish out free to bank staff.
“I didn’t expect much but I risked personal injury removing the false fascia and outrunning the crooks. “I thought NatWest might give me some sort of monetary reward as a goodwill gesture. “It’s disappointing but says a lot about what banks value the most — saving themselves money.”

The Sun revealed how Luke foiled the fraud scam earlier thi month in Westcliff-On-Sea, Essex.

NatWest claimed they had sent Luke CD vouchers, which he denied. A NatWest spokesman said: “We are very grateful to Mr Bridges for helping prevent cash machine users falling victim to this fraud but we would never encourage anyone to put their safety at risk by attempting to remove any such device. “We advise anyone who notices anything unusual about a cash machine to report it to the bank or the police immediately. “We have written to Mr Bridges expressing our gratitude and have sent him a gift and CD vouchers.

“We have also re-emphasised the dangers of removing such devices.”

What the Fuck? I would have beat the piss out of the bank manager. Stupid Brits.

The Bears' eight-game winning streak came to an abrupt halt Sunday in snowy Pittsburgh as the Steelers dominated on both sides of the ball in a lopsided 21-9 victory.

PriceRitePhoto: Abusive Bait and Switch Camera Store Story

More at Thomas Hawk's Blog

"I will make sure you will never be able to place an order on the internet again." "I'm an attorney, I will sue you." "I will call the CEO of your company and play him the tape of this phone call." "I'm going to call your local police and have two officers come over and arrest you." "You'd better get this through your thick skull." "You have no idea who you are dealing with."

These are all direct threats that I received today from an individual who identified himself as Steve Phillips, the manager of PriceRitePhoto in Brooklyn, New York when I called to inquire about my order with them. My crime? Telling him that I planned to write an article about my unfortunate experience with his company regarding the camera order I had placed with him yesterday.

How are these people able to stay in business?

I suppose I should have been duly warned based on PC World's Camera Confidential expose written a few years back about unscrupulous camera operators operating out of New York, but I have never been so utterly offended by a retailer in my life. I guess in some ways this is my own fault, or as Steve Phillips reminded me, you're a "professional photographer you should know better than to buy things on the internet this way."

I have been keeping track of The new Canon EOS 5D for a while. As those of you who visit this site regularly know, photography is a passionate hobby of mine. I've told myself that I'd pick up a 5D as soon as the price dropped below $3,000. I've been regularly checking both Yahoo! Shopping and PriceGrabber for a while waiting for one to drop. Well yesterday for the first time I saw that the 5D was for sale for $2,899 at PriceRitePhoto. I placed an order online and this is where my trouble began. The order went through and was confirmed and is shown below.

Why hype the Nintendo Revolution? Wait Another Month!

"Shouldn’t Nintendo be dissuading people from buying the Xbox 360 by convincing them to wait for the Revolution? IGN threw the question at George Harrison in today’s Nintendo Minute on IGN Revolution.

From IGN: “George Harrison, senior vice president, marketing and corporate communications, Nintendo of America: With so many new products being released each month, Nintendo must always be very strategic in deciding when to stir up buzz for a particular game or system. During this year’s busy holiday season, it wouldn’t make sense for us to get gamers excited about a console that they won’t be able to play until 2006.

Our focus right now is in generating excitement for our current heavy-hitting holiday line-up that includes Nintendo’s first-ever online gaming network in the U.S. with Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing DS. This is huge for Nintendo and, as you know, the response has been outstanding, with nearly half of all Mario Kart DS owners already playing online. These online titles hit stores in time for the holidays, so it makes sense Nintendo is concentrating on them now while the market for them is hot.

However, once the holiday rush subsides, I think it’s safe to say that you can expect Nintendo’s attention to gradually shift toward its 2006 priorities. Revolution is clearly one of these priorities, and we expect to see gamers become even more excited for Nintendo’s next console in what they learn in the coming months.

So though competitive noise may be high right now, rest easy knowing that Revolution will soon have its day in the sun, and all eyes will shift toward it. “

This however is where we disagree with Nintendo. While they may only have so much left to disclose about the Revolution, it is thought that it would be more profitable to take some measures to dissuade people who are currently tempted to purchase an Xbox 360. This may not be so.

Nintendo has statistics on information release dates and over all consumer response when amidst competition (as do all 3 companies, which help them to base their decisions). Perhaps with the lower cost of the Revolution and the alleged fun factor Nintendo can profit more by delaying the next hurdle of big Revolution news. Who knows. I guess we’ll see - Though we certainly can’t see the reasoning."

I love hearing about there articles!!! I KNOW I am buying an XBox 360 and the Revolution. It is sad when you buy a system for Halo and another for the rest of your games...

Eddie Guerrero Cause of Death

taken from Wrestlezone.com :

Wrestling star Eddie Guerrero died of natural causes related to heart disease, said the Hennepin County Medical Examiner Thursday.

The medical examiner's office said Guerrero, who was found dead in his hotel room on November 13, died of "natural causes related to arteriosclerotic heart disease." That term is synonymous with coronary heart disease, a narrowing of the blood vessels that supply blood and oxygen to the heart.

The coroner's did not address what led to the heart trouble, although the wrestler's wife, Vickie Guerrero, said last month on WWE.com's website that his past substance abuse and aggressive workout regimen caused the heart disease.

Following Guerrero's death, WWE announced the institution of a drug testing policy to screen for steroids and other drugs.

Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers Round 1

Taken from Yahoo Sports :

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- No hiding the obvious for the Chicago Bears. During their eight-game winning streak -- their longest in 20 years -- the defense's dominant play has compensated for a sputtering passing game.

"When you say the defense has carried us, that's what they're supposed to do," coach Lovie Smith said Monday, a day after Chicago pounded on Brett Favre and rode two big interceptions to a 19-7 win over Green Bay.

"That's the strength of our team. That and our running game is supposed to carry us," Smith added. "But we need to improve our quarterback play. We need to improve our passing game as a whole. So anyone involved in the passing game needs to pick it up a little bit in order for us to continue this path to win our division and to get into the playoffs."

Rookie Kyle Orton completed only six of 17 passes Sunday, top receiver Muhsin Muhammad was shut out for the first time since 2002 and the Bears were 0-for-10 on third-down conversions -- numbers that usually won't get any team to the playoff. Thomas Jones did run for 93 yards to reach 1,000 for the first time in his career.

Smith was still not budging Monday as the clamor grew for Rex Grossman's return to replace Orton, who has a quarterback rating of 60.2. Grossman, who broke his ankle in the preseason, was the third quarterback Sunday and could elevated to backup for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh.

But Smith was sticking with Orton. The Bears haven't won eight in a row since their 1985 Super Bowl team started that season 12-0.

"He's quarterbacked us to eight wins in a row and nine on the season. His leadership ability to get the job done," Smith said, listing Orton's strengths.

"Things he needs to improve on a little bit, accuracy probably. But you say that about most young quarterbacks. But I'm going to look at what he's done overall. You can look at his quarterback rating. Of course it isn't exactly what you would like for your quarterback rating to be, and then in the end I'm going to look at how many games he's won and figure he can do the job."

So far, the Bears' defense has done a lot of the work and continued that trend Sunday. Charles Tillman's 95-yard interception return set up a field goal and Nathan Vasher -- as he seems to do every week -- returned another pick 45 yards for a game-clinching touchdown.

Vasher has seven interceptions this season and also a 108-yard return of a missed field goal for a TD, the longest play in NFL history. Tillman has picked off four passes, including one he returned for a TD in overtime against the Lions.

"I'm having a blast," Vasher said. "If we continue to win like this, plays like that are going to come. We're getting sacks, we're getting interceptions, and that makes the game a whole lot more fun. It seems like the last five, six minutes of the game are real fun for us, and that's the way we've got to continue to play."

When Smith became coach before last season, he pledged to build a defense that could not only stop opponents, but score points. And the Bears have done just that.

Chicago has returned eight interceptions for TDs in Smith's first two seasons, including three this year.

"I really believe in our system that we have," Smith said. "It's not like we're figuring it out on the run. Our system has a proven success rate. We know that it works and we have great players in our scheme."

Need I say any more...

Heather's iPod

Heather called me this morning and said she was having problems with her iPod. I feel really bad that she just opened it and cannot get it to work. I hope I can fix it for her. I just spent a ton of money on this Road Trip thing. I bet it is something very simple. I doubt it though.

It turns out the iPod was locked up. All I had to do was the following:

1) Lock On
2) Lock Off

Today Sucked the BIG one

The day was going good until I was about to leave. A customer called and said the vehicle she driving stalled... DAMMIT! I was going to do stuff with my wife. On the way over to the car, Heather calls and asked me if she could go out with her sister. I kind of laughed because she ASKED to go out... HA!!! I was like; OK. I then told her I would not be around for a while because of the problem. I ended coming home and doing luandry and hanging up most of my clothes. I am now starting to play NFSMW until they get back. At least I had the place to myself for a while, but I do miss Heather.

Last Night; NFSMW

Brian and Mike came over last night. We were going to play "Riff", but we started doing police chases in Need for Speed: Most Wanted. After 3 hours of police chases, we decided to call it a day and they left. I ended up playing the game for an hour and went to bed. I cannot wait to play the game on Monday. I hope I can just sit around and play all day. It would be a good day.

Honeymoon Day #7 (Last Day)

It is time to say goodbye to the time off we had. It was fun while it lasted, but we need to get away from each other. I guess I am saying this wrong. We spent 24x7 with each other and you can only entertain each other other for 16x7. Heather said, "If I had to spend one more day with you, I would kill you." I felt that same way also. I was all touchy felly with her and she wanted silence. I am glad the honeymoon is over, but I would like to do it again sometime. Next time... Disney World!

Honeymoon Day #6

Well, we basically sat around most of the day. I did not shower until 5:15pm. Brian and Amanda came over to give us our wedding present. There were a TON of pictures. Amanda also gave us a montage of photos to put in our box she purchased. I thought she did a good job on the gift.

We went to Target to get a couple of things. Heather wanted to get an entertainment stand that closes. I did not want that. I know that sometimes I have to make decisions that are hard to make, but I keep on thinking about purchasing a 360 in the next few days. I caved in REALLY fast. I want to make her happy, smile, and laugh. I knew this is what she wants and I will give it to her.

Once we got back from Target, we played "Riff". Brian and I were on one team and the chicks on the other. Alright, we lost; BARELY. Oh well... It could have been worse. Brian and I could have lost by 30.

Honeymoon Day #5

Today I left my wife in Kewanee. I am making this sound bad. I came back to Galesburg to start on some projects. Heather was finishing dog sitting in Kewanee. She came back later. We ended up getting Long John Silvers for supper. It was fuckin bad. I doubt we will be going there any time soon. Note to self; no LJS.

Honeymoon Day #3

Today I woke up VERY early. The washer and dryer were SUPPOSED to be here at 8am, but they did not show until 8:55am. I have done a bunch of laundry and cannot wait to get to Kewanee.

Well, we got into Kewanee at 4pm. I left Heather at my parents' place to go talk to Seno about some tux issues. I ended up going to GameStop to pickup a Nintendo DS. I first got the nintendogs version, but I took it back for a different color (it also had a skin of nintendogs on it). I picked up trauma Center: Under the Knife and Mario Kart DS. So far the games are AWESOME! I guess I should mention it to Heather sometime soon. I will tell her tomorrow. Time for some sleep!

Honeymoon Day #2

As many of you already know, our honeymoon is getting the place in order. Today was one of those days. We worked on the kitchen. We unpacked plates, silverware, microwave, and other things. Alright, today is a boring day to talk about, but I wanted to give some insight on what we did today.

Honeymoon Day #1

Today we bought a washer and dryer. I am REALLY excited! Now we PWN a washer and dryer. It will be here between 8am-9am on Wednesday. We then went to Target and exchanged some gifts. We also bought some new bathroom things at Target. Heather and I decided to hit the grocery store to get some food. I thought we would have spent a lot more than what we did. It was nice going to the grocery store with my wife. It is still weird to call Heather my wife. I ended up grilling out 4 chickens and 1 steak. Heather cooked some mashed potatoes and corn. It was a good meal. All in all, it was a good day.

"Promise" by Taproot

"Promise"

Tonight's the night in your arms again
Be the one to make me whole and then
Say whatever you have to say to me on and honestly

(chorus)
Every single thought of you amazes me
So I'll promise you, I'll promise you to me
(Every single time that you've forgiven me)
So I'll promise you, I'll promise you to me

To find the one with your heart and stem
Freed and mine much more than the rest of them
Seed the chance to grow and be with me
The way I know and see

(chorus)

There you are in my thoughts again
Fearing all we have is dead
Taken time as the best of friends
Please don't let me down again

(chorus)

I have been WORKING?

I was going to see Dane Cook live in Bloomington, IL tonight. I had to bail on my brother though. I am getting married this week and needed to finish some projects. I had no idea how much actually goes into a wedding. I only wish we had a bunch of money and could have hired a "planner." I would fell better about things.

Here is something I did not realize until a week ago. I gained a bunch of BAD weight. [About 30lbs.] I started eating a lot more once the wedding was getting closer. Some people noticed I started losing some weight, but I gained it all back and then some. I made a promise to Heather, that she does not know about, to lose at least 100 of those pounds. I feel she would look at me that way she used to. I still think she does, but I want to make sure I am around for a while. I think this will be a HARD thing to accomplish, but I know I can do it. I will sometime next week start up my membership and stick with a program. I know that Thanksgiving and Christmas will be the 2 days I have to get off my task, but that will be it. I am doing this for myself, my family, my friends, and ESPECIALLY my wife; Heather.

I love you.

"The Day Brings" by Brad

Hold up your end; And I'll hold up mine
Dancin' all the time; Dancin' all the time
And too late father; You know that that's for sure
You never find a way; Never find a way

So gather around
And see what the day brings
And see what makes you laugh
And see what makes you sing
And never, nevermind
The thing that people say
You'll never go away; You'll never go away

Who knows where the storm will take us
Who knows when the pain will break us
When will all the G's be given
Another chance to live in freedom

Hey now
Get your heart, get your heart off of the shelf
Make the grey sky blue; Yeah, I'm talkin to you
And nevermind
The sick and the afraid
Askin' out today to see a brighter day

So gather around
And see what the day brings
And see what makes you laugh
And see what makes you sing
And never, nevermind
The thing that people say
You'll never go away; You'll never go away

Who knows where the storm will take us
Who knows when the pain will break us
When will all the G's be given
Another chance to live in freedom

So gather around
And see what the day brings
And see what makes you laugh
And see what makes you sing
And never, nevermind
The thing that people say
You'll never go away; You'll never go away

So gather around
And see what the day brings
See what makes you laugh
And what makes you sing

Last One... Alright, Alright

Last night was my bachelor party. Kevin Smith and I drove from Galesburg to Kewanee. We got there and Dave came over first. We talked to him for a while and then HE PUKES!!! It was not even 6pm yet. HA!

There were eight people over here. Aaron, Mike, Kevin, Brian, Dave, Jared, and Doug. We ended up playing Hold 'em with a $10.00 buy-in. Needless to say, I PWNed in Hold 'em. Doug left after I kicked his ass out of poker. HA! Jared ended up leaving before we went to the bar. It was a shitting night out and I understand he should go back.

So earlier in the night, Jared asked me to stand up for him. I was honored that he asked me! I just hope I do not have to give a speech in front of people I do not know. I feel bad for his brother! I can give him some pointers on what not to do. For instance, have Jared plan his own party.

We went up to Cerno's and I started drinking "the rail". I only did 5 beers off of it. I was still full from the burgers. We ran into a couple of people. Brian and Dave ended up calling it a night around 1am. They needed to both get some sleep. We talked to "V" for the last 20 minutes that we were there about "old-Skool" video games. Lots of old, Great games were mentioned.

We left Cerno's and made our way back to my parents' house and drank a couple more beers. Kevin and I played NHL 06 and PWNed the computer. Mike and I then popped out Halo 2. We only played Halo for 2 matches and I went to bed.

All in All, it was a good night. No one got hurt and we all had some fun.

Drinking with the Guys

Brian, Mike, and I picked up Kevin from the airport. After I cooked food, we playd some hold 'em. I ended up losing to a fuckin runner; runner. Granted, I did need the frist runner for the three of a kind. I am just glad I was able to wake up on time. Nothing really funny happened, but it was a good time.

At my crib, we will be cooking steaks and burgers. I feel prety strong about the poker game tonight. I know I can PwN these fools. Nah, I will just lose.

XBox 360 Titles?

Reuters has reported that video game publishers have revealed "most" of the lineup of titles slated for release when the Xbox 360 game console ships to stores for its North American debut on November 22. Many had expected Microsoft to make the full list of games available this week at its annual European press event but that never materialized. Here is the list of what's out there so far:

Amped 3
Call of Duty 2
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup
GUN
Kameo: Elements of Power
Madden NFL 06
Need for Speed Most Wanted
NBA Live 06
NBA 2K6
NHL 2K6
Perfect Dark Zero
Project Gotham Racing 3
Quake 4
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
Top Spin 2

I cannot believe there is ACTUALLY going to be a hockey game out on Next-Gen. I might have to pick this thing up now. I doubt it.

WWE Legal B.S.

WWE's legal department sent a letter to TNA recently that demanded that they not call their talent "wrestling superstars"or "superstars" in public or on commentary as that is a WWE trademarked term, at least WWE believes so. At this time, Bill Banks, webmaster of TNAWrestling.com, has been scrambling to change all "superstar" comments to "TNA star" or "TNA wrestler" on the TNA site. Many backstage in both WWE and TNA see this as being completely petty on WWE's part, not to mention childish.

WTF?!? You have to be kidding me... What next?

Back to Pekin

Well, Heather and I went to Pekin, IL last night. I have not been there since July. I thought it was time to go back. We went out with Jared and Amee to go watch "Backstreet". When we went inside, we heard "You Outta Know" and "Hash Pipe". So we were happy that it was music we liked. All of a sudden, they started playing country bullshit. I can handle some of it, but they teased us with rock and screwed us over with country crap. We decided to leave because Heather could not see cause of the smoke in the bar. I ended up hangin' out at Amee's for 2 hours talking and calling Travis. It was a fun time to be back in Pekin for the night. I guess I will be back sooner than later. Good times... Good times!

I hate it when I have people come in and waste my time. I love talking with customers and stuff, but come on... Some just are there to piss me off. I wish most of the people came in and cut to the point. I have this guy who asks me the same question each week and the answer is still the same.

"How much for **?"
"Sir that is priced @ $2497."
"No one is going to pay that much for a vehicle."

No matter what the vehicle is, he needs to try to fight with me. I think it is because I have a bigger cock than him. It happens... I mean I am small, but he is smaller... Fag!

We got the Rings! and more

So I have been driving this 1998 Chevrolet Blazer LS Michael Jordan Edition. On the way to get our rings, the suv started fuckin up BIG TIME! I had to pull over two times because it was soooooooooooooooo bad. I cannot believe that the suv decided to mess up when we are getting our bands! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

So I got the band that I wanted and Heather was able to pick hers out. Mine is gold with a silver middle and hers is gold with diamonds in the middle. We both like our rings and that is what matters!!!

While we were in Davenport, I decided to see Shawn W. I have not been to his place in... Well... I do not remember. We hung out at Shawn and Amber's for an hour or so. We talked and had a good time. It was good to see Shawn again. He is a good friend. It seems we lost touch for a while, but I will try to communicate with him in some shape or form.

Oh, we did make it back to Galesburg alright. I ended up driving a Pontiac GTP home. That son-of-a-gun is FAST. 3.8L Supercharger... Wow... It is nice.

I sent about 3 hours of their DSL. I hate calling tech support, but I had to... I cannot believe that I actually got someone who knows what they are doing. I talked to the guy and he helped me out. Usually I would just get pissed and throw my phone. The good news is the router works.

I went to the cities to get a router, tv tuner, and Mallrats 10th DVD. I ended up hanging out there for 20 minutes and forgot to get Tiger Woods 06. I am pissed about I forgot about the wood 06. I hate when I just talk about stupid shit like I am now... and now... and... now.

Well, I had to go around town looking for the cheapest gas. I nevermind doing weird things for my dad, because that is what I get paid to do. Sometimes I do things that I would rather not do, but I knew that my job would this way. I love what I do now. It is fun, relaxing, and I do not hate going to work. I love it!!! Back to the story... I got SUCK in HOMECOMING TRAFFIC!!! I hate it when the parade goes and then I have to do some errands.

We ordered a cable for some of our vehicles. It is called OBDII connector. It links up with the computer in your car and checks tons of shit out. We ordered it two weeks ago... I called and no answer. I was told that they have been sooooooo busy that our order was held up... Bullshit... I talked to her boss and he said they have been really slow. Why the hold up? I will never know. I am just going to eat and then sleep.

Verizon DSL Hookup

So I came back to Kewanee just to hookup Heather's parent's DSL. Well, it could not get any harder. I realized the PC I gave them, I put a busted network card in their PC. I completely forgot about it. So I had to hook it up through USB... Ahh... I guess I will have to go get a router on Saturday along with a network card. I guess sometimes people mess up, cause I did. I need to stop going to the parents' crib and leaving at 12am.

Alright, I sent some friends

I sent some friends a picture of a "Cream Pie"... Only 2 of the 8 people got it... 5 of the 8 have done it... Ok, Dave, a "Cream Pie" is where you blow your load in a chick (Hopefully one that is on the pill or she cannot have babies) and watch it drip out. Vagina = Cookie [Pie] and Seimen [Cream]. The picture is on the moblog on the left hand side. I know this happened a week ago, but I needed to address it. HA!!! I need some head... Heather? I guess I need to get a bunch before Nov 12, because there is no way in hell I will ever get one after marriage... Maybe if I get her drunk and beg. I am such an asshole.

Nothing special for today

I have been hanging out at my place watching TV. I hate it when people talk about how they did not do anything... Dammit... I am doing it... FUCK!!! Any ways, I got some kewl projects in the works. I just signed on to an internet company. I have been getting lots of hits from the paradigm and hughesauto web pages and I will bank on that. It is hard to explain, but I will try to if I make some cash off it.

If anyone gets the chance, watch the Edge vs Matt Hardy Steel Cage match from the WWE Unforgiven (09-18-05) show. I watched it earlier... wow... wow.

the Last 24 Hours have been interesting

First off, Shawn and Amber Werderman had a beautiful wedding!!! Congrads dudes!!! I had some fun there. I caught up with some old friends and I had fun with Heather. I should have stayed the night. Damn, I need to start hanging out with Shawn and Ryan at least once a month. I am going to start that.

Bears beat the living shit out of the Lions today 38-6. DAMN!!! Bears won; what next Pats lose to Panthers... Pats lost?!? What are the odds.

I licked tons of invitations today. My tongue tastes like shit. All in all, these last two days have been great!

I could image that the controller would be an add-on, but not the MAIN controller... that is fuckin queer. No one wants to know how mad I am right now.

What did you do today? Nothing... and More [paradigm]

I seriously did not do anything today... I woke up and jacked off 7 times... watched some TV... that is about it. HA! Nah, I did a bunch of little things... I tied up loose ends on the wedding... played some NHL 06 [FUCK YOU WAL-MART!!!]... ate... picked more things up at my apartment. I really did a lot more things, but I am drawing a blank right now.

I did talked to Jared last night. I was amazed what he told me... Jared said that he is going to be getting married to... FUCK... I cannot remember her name... ... I seriously cannot remember her name... Any ways, he said that they have been talking about it and I told to DO IT!!! I would have never guessed that he would talk about marriage for at least another month or two. CONGRADS MAN!!! I seriously do not even remember her name... I will hear about that later.

Well, Heather and I have been going into 5 gear on the wedding planning. I guess she has had some problems at home and she wants November 12th to get here NOW! I do feel bad because I do not hear about this stuff everyday. I love you Heather!!!

I have finished the new opening for the paradigm web site. Here is the one common question I get, "When in the Blue Hell are you going to up the shit?" I would say soon, but I will say in the next few days... I need to get the final touches on it. Soon... [Is now?]

Poker and Beer

I just got back from PWNED these fools in poker... Okay... I did not pwn them at all, but I did take out all three players in the second game.

I sucked it up the first game. I was getting nothing but cold cards. I went Heads-Up against Brian for 20 minutes. Finally, he kicked my ass. I was crying, but I only lost $1.00. No biggie.

The second game was interesting... I won a BIG pot early on and pretty much bullied my way around after that. I proceeded to kick Mike out and finished it off with Dave. Yeah... I actually was getting High and Medium pairs. I also caught a 10 -> Ace straight, but no one called me on it. For some reason, I actually played pretty damn good. I think it is because I wore the shades.

At some point in the night, Heather and Becky (Brian's Sister) came over to watch the excitement of No Limit Texas Hold 'em. I think they REALLY liked watching us go at it. Plus, well you know, I was there... And I will say that I am a sexay machine... Alright, I am not... But I did learn one thing last night... After 3 beers, I concentrate more. Next time, I need a six pack beside me!

Slipknot... Burger King... the Gay "Y" Connection?

I really thought this article was interesting...

Slipknot
percussionist Shawn Crahan doesn't seem too interested in the legal action lawyers for his band recently brought against Burger King over the food chain's ad campaign featuring a mock mask-wearing metal group called Coq Roq. "I don't waste my time on B.S. like that," Crahan says. "I just wish it'd all go away one way or another." He adds that "everybody should quit eating Burger King" as a form of protest.

I am actually getting used to the'98 Chevrolet Blazer Michael Jordan Edition. I think I might want to buy it... Nah, I get a Demo.

Hog Days

I finally realize that most people who were "Popular" come back EVERY year to Hog Days. I went there and met up with Jacob Stevenson and talked to him for a couple of hours. I noticed about 15 people that I know... that was about it. I realize that this was my last day at Hog Days... I mean it was kewl and while ago, but now it just stinks... seriously... it smells like shit. I guess it would be kewl if Heather and I had a child. Whateva! I guess I will just drink alone with everyone I hang out with now... wait a minute... I would not be drinking alone!

My 1997 Mazda Protege LX

Today is a sad day for me... I sold my Mazda Protege to a nice older family. It is sad to see it go... I had some fun in it... I basically gave away my '91 Dodge Daytona for $500. I really do not miss the Daytona, but why do I miss the Mazda? I guess I did not want to part from it. It is a sad day.

Interesting Article

Sex makes people healthy, cheerful, strong, beautiful and sleepy.

It is much easier for a woman to learn how to love herself, if she has a man, who desires and worships her. It is generally believed that human beings have sex either for pleasure or reproduction. However, the number of people driven with these motivations has been reducing steadily during the recent years. The majority of humans use sex as the most pleasant and available remedy for a whole bouquet of problems.

It is an open secret that a person gets into a cheerful mood during an act of love. In addition to purely psychological satisfaction, the human body produces endorphin - the hormone in charge of elevated spirits and positive perception of the environment. Researchers say that such inspiration comes from the activity of certain brain centers, which change the hormonal status of the body. Good quality sex produces a spiritually elevating effect on the chemical level, which does not require any additional efforts.

Prior to the culminating moment of an act of love, orgasm, the brain emits a dose of oxytocin - the hormone of the posterior lobe of pituitary. Oxytocin results in the production of sedative endorphins - natural analogues of morphine. Sex spurs the production of estrogen with women - the substance, which eases premenstrual pains. Therefore, sex is the best painkiller.

One may say that a bed is the best equipment for physical exercises that man has ever designed. The pulse rate of a sexually excited individual increases from 70 to 150 beats per minute, which is comparable to muscle efforts of a weight-lifter. Only one sexual intercourse burns off the same amount of calories that a person loses running on a treadmill for 15 minutes. Needless to say that the first option is much more pleasant than the second one. Thirty minutes of sex kill about 200 calories. In other words, daily sex can take away 500 grams of your weight in a week.

Sex is a very good impetus for the strengthening of the immune system. It has been tentatively proved that those people, who have sex on a regular basis, are much more protected against various viral diseases than those, who prefer abstinence: healthy sex saturates blood with antibodies. Therefore, sexually active men and women suffer from widespread infectious diseases such a flu and cold less frequently. As for sexually transmitted diseases, the answer is obvious: a condom makes perfect.

It may seem unreal, but it is a fact: regular sex enlarges women's breasts. Sexual excitement intensifies the bloodstream, which may add 25 percent to a woman's breast size. Furthermore, women can raise their IQ with every orgasm that they experience. American scientists, who continuingly study sexual possibilities of homo sapiens, discovered that the moment of orgasm gives a very powerful incentive to a large number of chemical reactions and physical procedures in the body. The speed of blood circulation reaches its maximum, whereas the oxygen-enriched blood reaches all internal organs, including brain, very quickly. Hypothalamus - the center for control of the hormonal system - also governs the work of learning and memorizing centers.

It goes without saying that an act of love ends with the ultimate relaxation and sleep, especially if it occurs after a hard day at work. The raising level of oxytocin produces a strong tranquillizing effect. Sex can therefore be considered as a perfect natural soporific medication.

Sex trains almost all groups of muscles, especially muscles of pelvis, buttocks, stomach and arms, which is an important factor for women. Regular love acts improve the bearing and exert a favorable influence on the musculoskeletal system. In addition, sex results in the production of collagen - the substance, which adds smoothness and glow to women's skin. Progesterone, another hormonal product of sex, helps a person fight acne. American scientists concluded as a result of their research that couples, who love each other at least three times a week, look two or three years younger than their coevals, who either abstain from sex or hardly ever enjoy it.

Any long-legged beauty girl annoys you, especially if she looks younger and prettier. A photograph of a beautiful model wearing fancy designer clothes ruins your entire day. Only passionate sex can save you from this infirmity. When a man tells his woman that she is the most beautiful lady on Earth, a woman usually stops thinking about several centimeters of fat on her waist or the fading elasticity of her skin. Psychologists say that it is much easier for a woman to learn how to love herself, if she has a man, who desires and worships her.

So today was a weird day... I sold two cars to a Mother and Daughter. I was told me that they bought the cars because I was honest... Huh... All I really did was tell them the truth about the vehicles... I was told that if you tell the customer the truth about the vehicle, they are most likely to purchase from you at a later date. I guess I will just keep on doing what I have being doing. Gosh... This business is way fuckin better than the theater!

One Day and Counting

WWE Day or Reckoning 2 comes out tomorrow! I cannot wait!!! Last years DOR was awesome... The only thing that lacks for this years is the story mode... Why don't these make a wrestling game that starts you in the indies, then to OVW, then to house shows, then dark matches, then Heat/Velocity, then Raw/Smackdown!, and then PPV. They should make the CAREER MODE 10-15 years. When someone ACTUALLY makes that type of wrestling, I will have only one life. Can't wait til tomorrow!!!

A Sad Day, If you are a Wrestling Fan...

From Jericho's official website:

"I eventually had my first match on Oct 2, 1990 in Ponoka, Alberta.and on August 22, 2005 in Hampton, Virginia, I had my last match. For now. Yes it's true. After months of speculation and rumors and numerous decoys and red herrings being thrown about, the official news from the boss man (me) is that I am leaving the WWE." Jericho noted that after wrestling for 15 years, he was mentally burnt out and that he is a "goal oriented person who thrives on a challenge and I'm not challenged by wrestling at this point in time," noting that he has accomplished everything he ever wanted to do in the business.

I cannot believe this... I am at a loss for words.

Scary Day in Kewanee

I just got back from Kewanee tonight... Heather's father was in the Kewanee Hospital. She said that it was nothing big, but I felt I needed to be there. It turns out that he had some fluid built up around his heart. Wow... that was fuckin close... I do not think I could go through the marriage cermony without Mike. I hope everything becomes ok with him. He is the best Father-In-Law a man could want. Best of Luck Mike!

Madden 06 and WWE: Day of Reckoning 2

So I am a BIG gamer, but during this time of year I have some problems... I usually buy the following games EVERY year:

Madden 06
WWE Day of Reckoning 2
Tiger Woods 06
NHL 06
Tony Hawk's Wasteland
World Series of Poker
Halo 2
Zelda Twlight Princess
and maybe 1 or 2 others.

I like to rent games once in a while also. My problem is that I have been playing Halo 2 a lot more and not touching Madden 06. With WWE Day of Reckoning 2 being released in a week, I will not be able to give Madden 06 the attention it needs...

Alright I am just messing around about the gaming issue... I could really care less... I actually have a lot of wedding stuff to complete. I do know that Heather has a lot more than I do, but it is now CRUNCH TIME!

What a Weekend

This weekend was filled with surprises and lots of other shit. We hung out with my side of the family on Sunday. We went out to eat at Ryan's. I love that place!!! We then walked around in a weird wooded area. After that life changing experience, we went to Dietsch's. I guess it is a major attraction in Findlay. Did you know Ben Roseli... Roselberger... Ben Roethlisberger is from Findlay, Ohio? You do now!

We ended up going to meet her family. I met Heather's cousin Doris and her husband, Mike. We visited for a while and then Donny came over... Fudge... This guy is a biker dude. He was good to get a long with. Donny then says that him and the guys are watching the PPV... ... ... FUCK YEAH!!! I drove on over to his house and watched the WWE PPV!!! I then met "Hammer", Bobbi, and 2 kids. I schooled everyone with wrestling knowledge, because I am the fuckin man. Ah... I love it when I school these mo fo's with my knowledge of wrestling.

So we got stuck in Chicago for 2 hours... I was getting really fuckin pissed at this point... I wanted to beat the shit out of the next person who moved ahead of me... I hate traffic.

So now, here I am talking about a kewl weekend... It was fun and we will be doing it again next year!!!

One more thing Left to Complete in Pekin,IL

I had to turn in the keys yesterday. I was depressed and overjoyed in one fell swoop. I will miss Pekin, but I need to look towards the future. A new Marriage (it is my first and only), a new career, and a new side project. I am looking forward to starting a new life in Galesburg. I have said this many times, but I will really miss the friends I made in Pekin/Peoria. I will see everyone soon... soon...

Well the move went alright and only 3 things got scratched... A new RECORD!!! It is about that time to take a nap. LaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaTE!

I will be moved out of Pekin, IL. I am not looking foward to missing some friends, but I am looking forward to Galesburg, IL. I wish I could just work in Galesburg and live in Pekin, but that would just hurt my car and waste gas. I will have to come back at least once a month to hang out. Jared, Blake, Ryan, and Travis... you will be missed... not really... I will still see your asses once a month.

I watched Paradigm play at a place that only had like 12 people there. The only problem is that it is going to be fuckin hot. I had sweat drippin' off of my balls. I know that Paradigm had a great set and that is why I was there. Plus, I am doing some of the backstage shit. I also need to finish the site. I know that after the move I will be update the shit out it.

Well, I am going to help Paradigm out tonight and let's see how many come out. I am thinking there should be around 30+ people out there... Shit... Maybe even more!!! This is going to be a fun night!

    It is HOT

I do not know about you guys, but it is suppose to be really fuckin hot out over the next week. I know I work indoors, but this is bad for business. We have had only one person come through the lot today. Oh well, I think things will be slow for the week and I hope next week picks up. I can see why there are high times and low times in the car business. In the theater business, we would be getting slammed. Fuck that... I love what I am doing now. It is fun and I like it.

    Not Much to Inform

I have not really done much the lazt few days. I pissed Heather off, because I ignored her for NCAA 2006. I thought she would read the PottHead book. I, as usual, was wrong. Hopefully, I can get something going today... Nah, I am just gonna chill and watch Raw.

Harry Potter / Work / and more...

In a few minutes, I am picking up the Harry Potter book for Heather. I am also going to pick up NCAA 06 for XBox. I was told that I can trade NCAA 06 and Madden 2005 straight (minus tax) for free. 24 days until Madden 2006!!!

I guess we are letting someone go at the dealership... No, it is not me... One of our Detail/Mechanic decided to show up and leave without telling any one. Well, we have had enough of his shit. He is gone now. I guess we need to find another person to fill his shoes. This should be interesting. At least now, we know that someone better will be working for us.

I cannot wait for Heather to be here this weekend!!!

These last Few Days have been Weird

Why do I hate unemployment 98.69% of the time? Because douche bags like Gary piss me off. He was some "Brad" that was working for us. He ended up only working a week because he forgot to "call-in" to get a check. I hate people that abouse unemployment. I know there are some people who used it because they lost their job and they cannot find anything else. I wish the government would make it so you can only get unemployment for up/to 18 months and you must keep your job for at least 3 months before you can start it up again. I know it sounds weird but I can go more into detail once someone else pisses me off.

The car business is going well. I have sold 3.5 cars so far. I have another deal going right now and that is the .5. I am having trouble finding a place though. I have looked high and low, but everyone wants a lot of money for a shitty place... Fuck dat... Oh well, Today begins another hunt.

Chevelle - One of my Favorite Bands are Done

Chevelle is one of my favorite bands. I have seen them 2 times now and each show was really good. I was hopeing to to see them next month. But without Joe in the band, I cannot watch them for a while. That is right Joe has been kicked out of Chevelle. It sucks... Hopefully the brothers decide to get back together soon. Here is the offical statement from Chevelle INC:

"We've spent 10 great years building Chevelle, but irreconcilable differences have led to an unfortunate parting of ways between Joe and the band. Chevelle will return to the road for a string of summer shows, to be followed by writing sessions for a new album. Thanks to all of our fans, friends and family for their continued love and support. We look forward to seeing all of you on tour.

Adds Joe Loeffler, "This will be positive for me and my brothers. I'm looking forward to all of the new opportunities this will make available to me."

    -Pete, Sam and Joe Loeffler

It is a sad day for all of Chevelle's fans...

    This Weekend

Well I had to deal with a complete asshole at the dealership. He wanted a perfect used car. I wanted to tell him that is impossible, but I kept my kewl. #1, the guy is a piece of work. #2, is a fag. Screw Him!

Later on that Day, Heather and I watched the Fantastic Four. I liked the film. It was very good. I would pay to see it sometime. I caught with some people and met some new ones. Man, I am glad to be out of the theater business. So we head on out to Mike's top play some hold 'em. I played very tight. I only had one hand in which I took a chance... I had A7 off suit. Usually no one would call me on the all ins... I got Mike on the first one. He was mad, which he should be... It was a bluff... 95% of the time I play only good cards. I used to play 45 off and 58 off... Not any more! I have been playing with some guys from Pekin who THINK they are good. I have learned a lot from playing with those guys. Plus, I have taken their money everytime... In other words, I have won or got my money back each time.

On Sunday, I got free [My dad said I didn't want the tickets anymore.] tickets to watch the John Deere Golf Classic. It is a PGA TPC course. I have never seen it before today. I think it was a hard course. I would not be able to play it good. I got a work out from all the walking there, but it was still kewl to watch. I enjoyed myself.

Now I am unpacking and typing on my blog... Well, I am out!
